Debido a los hechos recientes, nosotros, el equipo Lily Duclaud, estuvimos pensando y reflexionando mucho.
Antes que nada, nuestras condolencias y oraciones están con todos los afectados por alguno de los fenómenos naturales que estuvieron atacando a nuestro planeta últimamente. Entre todo el caos, vidas perdidas, gente lastimada, lagrimas y pánico que abunda, si hay algo que podemos rescatar, es la respuesta de nuestra gente hacia tales eventos. En esta nota, no vamos a dirigirnos ni hablar únicamente del pueblo Mexicano, del cual no podríamos estar mas orgullosos de formar parte, si no de todo nuestro equipo, nuestro equipo conocido como la raza humana. Florida, México, Puerto Rico, son solo algunas de las áreas que fueron afectadas recientemente, pero no vamos a hacer divisiones ni menciones particulares. Estamos orgullosos de TODOS nosotros, del valor que mostramos como humanos, de cómo todos, no importa que tan grande o pequeña sea su ayuda, ya sea ayudando a sacar a personas atrapadas en escombros, o armando bolsas de ropa y comida para los lastimados, todos, a su manera contribuyen. Hoy, oramos por México. Hoy, oramos por nuestra gente, nuestra gente en necesidad, estén donde estén, ya sea en México, Venezuela, Japón, o Florida. Oramos por nuestra GENTE, sin importar el sexo, sexualidad, origen, religión, o creencia. Hoy, oramos por no tener que esperar a tales catástrofes, para agradecer tener lo que tenemos, y a quienes tenemos. Hoy, mañana, y pasado mañana, prometemos no solo orar, pero también recordar, y con este recordatorio, mantener fe y esperanza, no en el mundo, pero en nosotros y nuestra capacidad como comunidad mundial.
Mahatma Gandhi dijo “Hagas lo que hagas en esta vida, será insignificante, pero es muy importante que lo hagas, porque nadie más lo hará.” A que nos referimos con esto? Esa ayuda que haces, toca una vida, y puede ser que la persona que tienes a tu lado este también ayudando, pero TU ayuda, sin importar su magnitud, nadie mas la hará, por eso es muy importante amigos míos, que la hagas!

Due to recent events, we, the Lily Duclaud team, have been doing a lot of thinking.
First of all, our thoughts and prayers go to all of those affected by any natural hazard that has hit their country as of lately. Amongst all of the chaos, lives lost, people injured, tears, and panic, if there is one thing we can rescue, is the way people have reacted to all. On this blog, we will not talk only about our Mexican team, which we couldn’t be more proud of, but of all our team, our team as the human race. Florida, Mexico, Puerto Rico, have been just a few of the areas recently harmed, but we will make no division. We are proud of ALL of us, of the value we show as human beings, of how everyone, no matter how big or small their doing is, whether it is rescuing people under fallen buildings, or making lunch bags for those injured, all contribute in some sort of way. Today, we pray for México. Today, we pray for our people, our people everywhere in need, whether that is in Mexico, Venezuela, Japan, or Florida. We pray for our PEOPLE, no sex, race, sexuality, origin needed. Today, we pray for not having to wait for such events to realize how lucky we are and how grateful we must be, to have whoever, and whatever we might have. Today, tomorrow, and everyday after that, we promise to not only pray, but to remember, and with this remembrance, to keep hope and faith, not in the world, but in ourselves and our capabilities as a worldwide community.
Mahatma Gandhi once said “Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it’s very important that you do it, because nobody else will.”, what do we mean with this? That help that you are contributing, does touch a life, and the person next to you can also be helping, but your help, however big, or small, nobody else can do it, which is why it is very important my friends, that you do it.
